> Tools: What cameras do you use? Where do you stand in the Digital vs Analogue debate?
I work with a 6×6 Bronica on film and this is the camera I know best right now. For commissions, I also photograph digitally.

> Influences: Could you tell us about what influences your work, photographically speaking and influences that could come from other non-photography related areas?
My images tend to be silent images, a quality I enjoy in paintings by Vilhelm Hammershøi and Edward Hopper and often there is a romantic notion. I don’t want to lose photography’s unique quality to document though, and I’m usually excited by works which find new ways of balancing being a document, a fictional tale and aesthetic object. Paul Grahams latest book work ›A shimmer of possibility‹ has this kind of quality for me. To present photographs in a book is very appealing to me, the latest one I bought was Patrick Faigenbaum ›Santulussurgiu‹. I also admire Nan Goldin and Wolfgang Tilmans as within their images they share their tactics of everyday life. My favorite films are ›Sans Soleil‹ by Chris Marker and ›The Mirror‹ by Tarkovsky.

> Self-promotion: From your won body of work, which are your favorite photographs?
This is too early to judge. I appreciate Craigie Horsfield’s way of working; he sometimes waited more than a decade before making an actual print of an image – this is why each of his images comes with two dates. Within a longer period in time I will see which images keep being important to me.

> Location: How does you place of residency affect your work?
Usually my work is not particularly linked to a place. I like to move around but I’m more interested in similarities than in difference. The work Susurrus is been photographed half in Germany (where I come from) and half in London.

> Future: What will we see from you in the future?
I hope to publish a book.

> Speculation: If you had all the resources necessary, what project would you love to do?
I don’t think about photography in terms of a project. It is what I do.

Herramientas: Qué tipo de cámaras usas y en el debate de Digital vs. Análogo, donde te posicionas?
Ahora trabajo con una Bronica 6×6, es la cámara que mejor conozco ahorita. Para comisiones hago fotografía digital.

Influencias: Cuáles son tus más grandes influencias, fotográficas o no fotográficas?
Mis imágenes tienden a ser imágenes silenciosas una característica que disfruto de las pinturas de Vilhelm Hammershøi y Edward Hopper y por lo general tienen una noción romántica. No me gustaría perder la calidad única de la fotografía para documentar y me excita ver trabajos que encuentran la forma de balancear documental, una ficción y la estética. E trabajo reciente de Paul Graham ›A shimmer of possibility‹ tiene esa característica en mi opinión. Presentar fotografías en un libro me atrae mucho, el último libro que compre fue ›Santulussurgiu‹ de Patrick Faigenbaum. También admiro a Nan Goldin y Wolfgang Tilmans ya que con sus imáganes comparten las tácticas del día a día. Mis películas favoritas son ›Sans Soleil‹ de Chris Marker y ›The Mirror‹ de Tarkovsky.

Auto-halago: Cuáles son tus fotografías (propias) favoritas?
Es demasiado pronto para juzgar. Aprecio la forma de trabajar de Craigie Horsfield, a veces esperaba hasta una década para imprimir una imagen, por eso sus imágenes están fechadas 2 veces. Al pasar un periodo más largo de tiempo podré ver que imágenes me son más importantes.

Localidad: Como influye tu lugar de residencia en tu trabajo?
Por lo general mi trabajo no está ligado a un lugar. Me gusta moverme, estoy más interesada en similitudes que en diferencias. De la serie Susurrus, la mitad esta hecha en Alemania y la otra mitad en Londres.

Futuro: Qué podremos ver de ti en el futuro?
Espero publicar un libro

Especulación: Qué trabajo harías si tuvieras todos los recursos necesarios?
No pienso en la fotografía en términos de proyectos. Es lo que hago.
