First: I´m 36 years old.
I attended a diploma degree course in Communication Design, with photography as the main subject at the University of Applied Sciences, Hamburg.
Tengo 36 años. Estoy haciendo un diplomado en Diseño de la comunicación enfocado en la Fotografía en la universidad de ciencias aplicadas en Hamburgo
Herramientas: ¿Qué tipo de cámaras usas y en el debate de Digital vs. Análogo, donde te posicionas?
Tools: I use Canon and Sinar. I´m actually not really into this debate, I´m doing digital and analouge pictures. There are different types of photography for me. In some of them it´s not appropriate to use digital cameras esspecially in doing large prints.
Herramientas: Uso Canon y Sinar. En realidad no me interesa ese debate. Tomo fotos con digital y fotografías análogas. Hay diferentes tipos de fotografía para mí. En algunos no es apropiado usar cámara digital especialmente si voy a hacer grandes impresiones.
Influencias: ¿Cuáles son tus más grandes influencias, fotográficas y/o no fotográficas?
Influences: There is no real role- model but there are three people who gave me inspiration. On the other hand Literature and Music influence my work a lot. The logic of my work relates very close to these two medias. If you just look at the photographic backround Philip Lorca Di Corsia and my professors for photography, Ute Mahler, and Boris Mikhailov supported me in getting on with my work and development.
Influencias: Realmente no tengo un sólo modelo a seguir pero hay tres personas que me han inspirado. Por otro lado, la literatura y la musica influencian mucho mi trabajo. La lógica de mi obra es muy cercana a la de estos dos medios. Si miras los antecedentes de la fotografía, Philip Lorca Di Corsia, mi profesor de photografía Ute Mahler y Boris Mikhailov me han apoyado en mi trabajo y mi desarrollo.
Auto-halago: ¿cuáles son tus fotografías (propias) favoritas?
Self- promotion: To be honest there are no favorite photographs, I´m satisfied with my work pretty seldom.
Auto-halago: Para ser honesto no tengo fotos favoritas, muy rara vez estoy satisfecho con mi obra...
Localidad: ¿Cómo influye tu lugar de residencia en tu trabajo?
Location: My residency place doesn´t affect my work at all. For my work I´m travelling, most of the time to Russia, that is what affects me.
Localidad: Dónde vivo no afecta mi trabajo.Viajo mucho a Rusia y eso sí tiene repercusión en mi obra

Especulación: ¿Qué trabajo harías si tuvieras todos los recursos necesarios?
Speculation: In fact it´s the project I´m working on at the moment. Unfortunately I don´t have the necessary resources to get on with it as quick as I´d love to.
